Victor Khojane (Dr Victor) was born and raised in South Africa, Kimberley, where he attended school up to matric. He formed a school band called CC Beat that performed mainly on week ends, as youngsters they were influenced by bands like Blondie and Papa, Harare, Jonathan Butler and American teen sensations The Jackson five. In 1984, shortly after leaving school, Victor and his friends were heading for Johannesburg in search of their dreams, where they became very popular as a nightclub band.


Shortstraw are an indie rock band from Johannesburg South Africa.

Shortstraw have earned themselves a place as currently being one of the biggest bands in South Africa, with some of the most loyal fans a band could ask for. After 2014 took the band outside South Africa, Shortstraw continue to bring their uniquely South African “Indie-Bele” sound to the rest of the world.


Die Heuwels Fantasties is an Afrikaans Alternative Pop Rock group from Bellville, Cape Town in South Africa. This ground-breaking group is considered to be the first successful Afrikaans electronic act. The group describe their music as “melodic songs written on acoustic guitar, interpreted with electronic and organic instruments. You can call it pop.”


The trio of muso’s whose collective expertise molds their unique sound, features Juliet Harding on vocals. She effortlessly takes listeners on nostalgic adventures with her lyrics and enchanting voice. Matthew O’Connell is on saxophone and keys. They’re kept together by the wizardry of GoodLuck’s producer and founder Ben Peters, whose repertoire includes 7 number one hits and an uncanny ability to turn disparate ideas into foot- thumping dance floor fillers and has radios begging for more.

Wide Hospice Charity Raft Race …

Calling all companies and organisations … want to have some fun and at the same time do good for a real worthwhile cause? 

Well you can do no better than enter a team for the Hospice Charity Raft Race that is happening at Stonehaven’s Spring Beer Festival on Saturday the 26th August.  Each Team can have up to 12 members – you can have less if you wish, but the cost per team is R1000.  All team members who participate in the race, will receive free entrance to Stonehaven on Vaal’s Spring Beer Festival (tickets are usually R80). 

Companies, can use this as their annual Year End Team Building for their companies and receive a Tax Exception Certificate.  If you want to make your team even happier you can give your team members a few food and beverage vouchers they can enjoy using at the festival.
