Hundreds of little ducks are going to float down the Vaal River in front of Stonehaven's river bank at the Spring Beer Festival

Pick your numbered duck for R100 per duck, and if your duck crosses the Finish Line first you will win great prizes! Proceeds will go towards Emfuleni suburb enhancement initiatives! When you choose your lucky number, your name will go up on a big poster at Stonehaven's Reception Area for all to see!

The Parlotones are Kahn Morbee, Neil Pauw and brothers Glen and Paul Hodgson. Formed in 1998, they have achieved massive success in their home country of South Africa, as well as success in various international markets. The Parlotones are known for their hard work, humble attitude, and passionate dedication and commitment to their music.  Their career, to date, has spanned over 20 years and includes achieving multi-platinum selling status and accumulating numerous awards.


Fokofpolisiekar was formed in 2003 when a group of friends from Bellville (South Africa) decided to start an Afrikaans rock band.

In the 14 years since their inception, they have reached cult status in their home country and Fokofpolisiekar has become a household name.
They have become known for their explosive live performances and through their controversial and ever-questioning lyrics have generated much controversy in the South African media.


Matthew Mole is a musician from Cape Town, South Africa. His style is described as ‘folk with a slight electronica influence’. Matthew states “I have always had an attraction to folk music - happy guitar rhythms, thousands of vocal harmonies and random percussion is what I’m all about.”


Established in 2013, this Johannesburg based band takes their vibrant performance across South Africa. They’ve managed to play at any establishment, albeit pub, club or fancy grub. From battling the winds of the Western Cape, to beating through the lush jungle of KwaZulu-Natal, this band is no stranger to festivals or corporate events. Not only have they been through many different members before anchoring on their current sound.


With 9 studio albums to his name and for the last ten years receiving legendary status as globally respected purveyor of the blues, guitarist, singer/songwriter DAN PATLANSKY is one of the world’s finest blues-based storytellers of his generation. Voted the #4 Best Guitarist in the world, DAN remains the only artist in the world with two worldwide #1 Best Blues Rock albums to his name, as voted by Blues Rock Review USA.

The 21st Annual Stonehaven Spring Beer Festival is very popular annual event where thousands of people celebrate the starting of the Spring Season on the banks of the Vaal River at Stonehaven on Vaal with top SA bands, great food & drinks.
